Schools and other Educational Institutions

We recognise the importance of supporting the institutions working with academic education, to find new ways to engage students in the challenge of the Climate Crisis and Sustainability. Therefore we are very happy to create workshops and any other projects for different schools, colleges, university, etc.
We started supporting Lipson Vale Primary School, with their "Eco-warriors" group.
TP Education and the "Eco-Warriors" of Lipson Vale
The Eco-warriors is a group of pupils from different years of the Lipson Vale school, facilitated by the teacher assistant Mrs Pam Redgwell. The group was formed years ago to learn and engage in environmental activities. We will be doing different sessions with them this year.
We are grateful with Mrs Redgwell and the headteacher Mr Vowles, for letting us work with the kids. For us it is a precious experience and we are very excited about every meeting :)
Our first session with them was on Wednesday 5th March. We watched a 5 minutes video on Climate Change (appropriate for their age group) and then discussed what we saw. The pupils shared their thoughts with enthusiasm; they understood clearly what the problem was and what the solutions could be. Finally, they make colorful drawings about their thoughts - below.
Thank you to the Eco-warriors for their enthusiasm - and their beautiful card!!

Our second session was on Wednesday 25th June. This time we shared a storytelling about the "Four Kingdoms in Nature" and went to actually explore the "Animal Kingdom" living in the school! The children chose different names for each "neighborhood" and registered the animals/insects they found, in sheets we have prepared. They enjoyed it so much that decided to continue with this mission on a next session with Mrs Redgwell. There is so much more to explore!
Below is a "bird watching" sheet we prepared and gave to the group, so they can have a go themselves in future sessions :)
TP Workshops at Devonport High School for Boys
Our Education group team had the pleasure to run a workshop and open discussion on Inner Transition for the A level students of DHSB, on January 2015. Thank you to teacher Tal Leshem for the invitation!
The workshop included a small presentation by the Education group followed by groups discussion and brainstorming on different topics of the Inner Transition aspect of the Transition to a sustainable/fossil free future process.
The students were brilliant and very enthusiastic, we had a blast! Many thanks to all!
